A Warm Welcome to Bracklinn House

to Bracklinn House, Arran, Scotland.

Bracklinn House, Isle of Arran
Bracklinn House

Bracklinn House is situated within the village of Blackwaterfoot, on the southwest coast of Arran. A large traditional 1920’s villa, Bracklinn House enjoys one of the best locations on Arran, overlooking Blackwaterfoot Bay and the Kilbrannan Sound with seafront location and sea views.

Recently renovated and restored, the house retains all of its original features and provides warmth, comfort and space for up to six guests.

Bracklinn House is set within substantial grounds with large flat gardens to both front and rear and off-road parking.

Bracklinn is ideal for golfers, family holidays and children of all ages.

The renowned Shiskine Golf and Tennis Club is literally a one minute walk. This fantastic 12 hole golf course is ranked within the top 100 golf courses in the UK and offers a truly unique golfing experience. A round not to be missed!

The beautiful sandy beach of Blackwaterfoot is again a one minute walk, adjacent to the golf course.

Blackwaterfoot village is a five minute walk. Amenities include a garage, general store, Post Office, newsagent, butcher, baker, hairdresser, bars and restaurants and  bus service.

The Kinloch Hotel, Leisure Club and Bar (5 minute walk) includes a snooker hall, sauna and swimming pool and is open to non-residents.

If you are interested in Scottish History then highlights include:  The Machrie Standing Stones (10 minute drive); the Kings Caves (15 minute drive); Brodick Castle (30 minutes).

Arran has a very frequent bus service around the island, so if you fancy a day off driving (or cycling) you can still enjoy the many delights that this island has to offer.

Alternatively of course you can have a picnic on the beach across from Bracklinn House or a barbeque in the back garden.

The choice is yours...
